Sunday 2
+ Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs at O2#

Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs is a spellbinding exhibition featuring over 130 Ancient Egyptian treasures.

The dazzling objects on display come from Tutankhamun's tomb, other Valley of the Kings burials and additional Egyptian sites.

The exhibition uses inventive design and innovative technology to immerse you in the world of Ancient Egypt. See and hear about the fascinating times in which the young king lived and learn how his short reign changed history.

Royal Tombs
We'll see more than 70 objects from royal tombs dating to the 18th Dynasty (1555 BC -1305 BC). Owners include the pharaohs Amenhotep ll and Thutmose lV and two important members of the royal family, Yuya and Tuyu. Before the discovery of Tutankhamun's resting place, Yuya and Tuyu’s tomb was the most celebrated find in the Valley of the Kings.

Tutankhamun's Treasures
The exhibition features 50 major objects excavated from Tutankhamun's tomb. They include the royal diadem - the gold crown encircling the head of the king’s mummified body -, which he probably wore in life. You'll also see the gold and precious stone inlaid canopic coffinettes that contained the king's mummified organs.

The Face of Tutankhamun
We'll see National Geographic images and film footage about the golden age of the pharaohs plus new scan images of Tutankhamun's mummy. These scans are the basis of a scientifically based 3D reconstruction of the face of Tutankhamun, which goes on display in Europe for the first time.

ABOUT OUR EVENTS
The ExecEvents Club prides itself on offering a diverse calendar of stylish Social Events, Cultural Events, Singles Events and VIP Events throughout the year. We work with the top sporting venues, cultural institutions, restaurants and clubs to ensure our members benefit from an interesting and enjoyable range of events.

We schedule approximately 4-5 events a month - most in the evening but also some during the day. In a typical month there will be one or two cultural and special interest events, a sporting activity (seasonal), one gastropub style dinner party and one more formal one, regular drinks parties, walks, debates, wine tastings and so on. We also organise 2 or 3 weekend trips a year, both abroad and in the UK.

The diary is constantly being updated as events become available so it is worth checking out each month's activities on a regular basis.
